Henry Patel opened his first garage in Arthur Street in 1984. Four years later the business moved to Salem Lane, and within a year it had become an MOT testing station. MOTs while you wait have been at the heart of what we do ever since.
Because we are a full working garage as well as a testing station, any work your car needs can be taken care of by the same team, in the same workshop.

How do I book an MOT?
Send us a booking request or call 01933 272201. Requests sent online are confirmed by phone or email, so your slot is not fixed until we have been in touch.
Can I wait while my car is tested?
Yes. MOTs while you wait is what we are known for, and the test is carried out at our own testing station on Salem Lane.
What if my car needs work to pass?
We can take care of it in the same workshop: repairs, welding, brakes, exhausts, tyres, batteries, clutches and diagnostics. See all our services.
